Our noses are not often seen as our most beautiful feature or showered with attention, they are rather associated with an animalistic stigma or neglected. Yet, in the sophisticated world of wine our sense of smell suddenly turns into the most important tool to show how educated and cultured we are. On the nose discovers this tension between culture and (animal) instinct.
